DTP in the Community

 Your Neighbors Making a Difference

Dulles Transit Partners has been active in the Northern Virginia community since its inception. In 2010, we were honored to participate in the following initiatives:

Another popular fundraiser spearheaded by our male employees (and female fans) was MOvember. This is when our formerly clean-shaven employees grew a "MO" -- slang for moustache -- for the entire month of November to raise awareness of men's health issues. Money raised during this hair-raising campaign benefitted the Prostate Cancer Foundation and LIVESTRONG.

Our NextGen young professionals' group supported nine local families in need of a holiday meal through the Holiday Food Basket Program for Our Daily Bread in Fairfax County. DTP, through the Bechtel Foundation, has also provided funding to Volunteer Fairfax, Friends of the W&OD Trail and the Loudoun Interfaith Relief food pantry.

 Opportunities for Scouts

Webelo Pack 861 from Haycock Elementary School in Falls Church, Virginia, visited the Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project on Jan. 8. They visited with our engineers and surveyors to work toward their Engineering Badges.
