George Morschauser - Project Executive Director
Mr. Morschauser has over 32 years of technical and managerial experience in the design and construction of large, complex transportation infrastructure and facilities valued in the billions of dollars. His background includes the design and construction of major rail infrastructures located in congested urban and major metropolitan areas for both new and existing transit systems. He previously served as Project Manager on the $6.3 billion dollar MTACC/LIRR East Side Access project, on the $5.3 billion dollar Los Angeles Metro Red Line project and on the AirTrain light rail transit extension to JFK International Airport and Extension C on the Baltimore Metro.
Ernie Lee - Project Director
Mr. Lee brings over 30 years of project management and engineering/construction operations experience to the Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project.
Mr. Lee is a Regional Manager for Washington Group International (WGI) where he was responsible for the marketing, technical oversight and operations of the Mid-Atlantic region for the company's rail, transit, highway and airport transportation engineering and construction services. Throughout the past 20 years, Mr. Lee has served in various leadership capacities to provide technical oversight and project management to numerous transit agencies and rail projects, including construction of WMATA's 103-Mile Build Out Train Control and Communications Project, New Jersey Transit Hudson-Bergen Light Rail Project, Newark City Subway, Army Corps of Engineers and the Regional Transit Authority of Chicago. Mr. Lee graduated with an associate of Science Engineering Technology degree from Virginia Commonwealth University.
Jorge A. Martinez - Project Manager
Mr. Martinez has extensive experience as a project executive on major domestic and international transportation and infrastructure projects, including the recently completed Springfield Interchange. In addition to his primary experience in program management, construction, and construction management, Mr. Martinez has held a broad range of senior techincal and managerial positions involving conceptual planning, project development, procurement, client relations, claims dispute resolution, and project engineering/design. He has a proven track record of successfully managing projects to meet client budget/schedule requirements in challenging project execution environments that require minimized construction impacts to the public and/or clients. His extensive experience on highly visible projects provides him with a unique combination of perpectives, skills, and knowledge to effectively execute large complex projects.
Larry Melton - Deputy Project Director - Services
Mr. Melton has over 24 years of experience in engineering and construction management in both the public and private sector. He has planned, implemented, and executed large-scale complex civil projects in urban areas around the world, including the Atlanta Hartsfield Airport Extension, the Boston Central Artery and Tunnel Project, and the Air Train to John F. Kennedy Airport in New York. He has been an integral part of the Dulles Transit Partners senior management team for the last five years from the start of Preliminary Engineering through the negotiations and award of the Design-Build contract. Mr. Melton graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from The Citadel and also holds an MBA in Global Management.
